Scrub Jay Press is located in the Sierra Nevada
foothills outside of Fresno, California. Scrub Jay Press is
devoted to publishing authors from California's San
Joaquin Valley as well as works of national
significance. Chris Henson and Eugene Zumwalt are the founders and operators of The Press. The Press has published poetry, We Breathe the Sky by David Good, and An Old Weather by Don Parkey. The Press has also published The Rain Are Fallin, a book of Louisiana Depression-era history and photographs, Lewis and Clark in the Land of the Wahkiakums, a local companion, and Longburst and The Flying Tigers.
